Sales & Deposit Agreement

By placing a deposit or purchasing livestock, poultry, chicks, hatching eggs, or other products from Hazee Hill Hooves & Feathers, the buyer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

General Sales Policy

All animals and eggs are sold in good health and condition to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale. Buyers are encouraged to inspect animals upon pickup.

Hazee Hill Hooves & Feathers reserves the right to refuse a sale at any time for any reason.

All sales are final unless otherwise stated in writing.

Deposits

Goat Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to hold any goat unless otherwise agreed upon.

• Deposits are applied toward the total purchase price.
• Deposits are non-refundable if the buyer changes their mind or fails to complete pickup/payment arrangements.
• Deposits may only be transferred to another available animal at the discretion of Hazee Hill Hooves & Feathers.
• Goats must be paid in full before leaving the farm unless prior arrangements have been made.

Chick & Poultry Deposits

Deposits may be required for:

• chicks,
• started birds,
• grow-outs,
• or special orders.

Deposits are non-refundable due to the limited availability of poultry and incubation scheduling.

Hatching Egg Policy

Hatching eggs are sold as fertile eggs only. Due to factors outside our control, Hazee Hill Hooves & Feathers cannot guarantee:

• hatch rates,
• fertility rates,
• shipping handling,
• incubation success,
• or chick viability after hatch.

We do our best to provide clean, fresh, carefully handled eggs collected from healthy breeding stock.

By purchasing hatching eggs, the buyer understands:

• shipped eggs may experience reduced hatch rates,
• incubation practices greatly impact success,
• and no refunds or replacements will be issued for hatch results.

Cracked or visibly damaged eggs must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photos.

Poultry Sales

All chicks and poultry are sold as straight run unless otherwise stated.

While we do our best to identify gender accurately when applicable, no guarantees are made unless specifically sold as sexed birds.

Hazee Hill Hooves & Feathers is not responsible for:

• predator loss,
• illness after pickup,
• improper brooder setup,
• injuries,
• weather-related losses,
• or losses caused by buyer management.

Goat Sales

All goats are healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale.

Buyers are responsible for:

• proper nutrition,
• mineral supplementation,
• vaccinations,
• parasite management,
• fencing,
• and overall care after pickup.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

• goats are sold without registration transfer guarantees until full payment is received,
• horn status, teat structure, and future breeding performance cannot be guaranteed in young animals,
• and breeding outcomes are never guaranteed.

Hazee Hill Hooves & Feathers is not responsible for veterinary costs or losses after the animal leaves the property.

Pickup Policy

Animals must be picked up within the agreed timeframe unless prior arrangements are made.

If pickup arrangements are not honored:

• deposits may be forfeited,
• and the animal may be relisted for sale.

Buyers are responsible for bringing:

• proper transport crates/carriers,
• safe livestock transportation,
• and weather-appropriate accommodations during transport.

Biosecurity

For the safety of our animals:

• visitors may be asked to sanitize footwear,
• avoid contact with outside livestock prior to visiting,
• and follow farm biosecurity requests.

Hazee Hill Hooves & Feathers reserves the right to limit farm access during disease concerns or kidding/hatching seasons.

Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods may include:

• Cash,
• Venmo,
• PayPal,
• or other approved payment methods.

Animals and products remain property of Hazee Hill Hooves & Feathers until paid in full.

Buyer Agreement

By placing a deposit or completing a purchase, the buyer confirms they have read and agreed to all terms listed above.

We are committed to breeding only healthy goats & chickens that meet the breed standard. Our breeding goats undergo genetic testing to ensure they are free of any hereditary diseases. We carefully select breeding pairs to produce offspring that will be healthy and have desirable traits.

We value our customers and are always here to help. We provide ongoing support and guidance to our goat & chick owners to ensure a smooth transition for both the goats/chicks and the family. We are always available to answer any questions or concerns.
